Stefano Russo plays guitar Maggi, model Shaula limited edition, specially designed for him.

Shaula limited edition is the result of a collaboration and research with the Maestro Luciano Maggi.

The technical and tonal characteristics of the Maggi guitars, are located between the guitars of traditional Spanish school and that of modern conception, in particular Maggi develops in an interesting direction the project in lattice-bracing and carbon fiber of the Australian school. Through a personal geometry and internal structure of the instrument and a lightening of the back and side, the timbre for the listener is full, full-bodied and rich of harmonic nuances. As Maggi explains, it takes many hours of work to create the instrument that counts in the manufacture of well over 240 glues to assemble the various parts. The latest novelty that has been successfully tested for over four years is the innovative “internal diaphragm” that combined with the sound-port on the shoulder allows you to adjust the movement of the internal air of the guitar and set the instrument timbrically. The Maggi project enriches the traditional timbre of the instrument with greater sustain, harmonic richness, power and projection.

These qualities, rare to be found in the research and experimentation of “modern conception” guitars, have fully met my needs. A ready, responsive, bright and sweet sounding instrument.
